The 2016 Tax Free Weekend for Mississippi begins at midnight on Friday and goes until 11:59 am on Saturday. Items on the tax free list include baby clothes, school uniforms, gym clothes, night clothes, veils, and work clothes and uniforms. According to the Mississippi Department of Revenue, there are some guidelines to keep in mind, with the most important is the $100 rule. You cannot buy one item or multiple items sold as a set that goes over $100.00.
