A threat for severe thunderstorms will increase late
tonight and persist into tomorrow morning. Damaging
wind gusts are the main threat, but tornadoes will
also be possible. The greatest threat for tornadoes
will be across Northeast Louisiana, and portions of
central, west central, and southwest Mississippi,
where some strong tornadoes are possible.
Localized flash flooding is also possible late tonight
into tomorrow morning across the outlook area. Rainfall
totals of one to four inches with locally higher amounts
possible, could fall in a short amount of time. With the
timing of these storms during the overnight hours please
ensure you have ways to get warnings while you sleep.
