Page, Abram, Found Guilty in 2014 Murder of Ryan Cooper

Circuit Court District Attorney Hal Kittrell announces that on September 16, Jerry Page AKA “Jerry Abram” was found guilty by a Marion County Jury of the Murder of Ryan Cooper, Arson, Simple Assault of a Law Enforcement Officer and of Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Anthony Abram was also found guilty by the jury of Arson and Accessory After the Fact to the Murder of Ryan Cooper. The case was tried by Assistant District Attorneys Kim Harlin and Lauren Harless. Page and Abram will be sentenced on September 26, in Monticello. Page faces a maximum penalty on all charges of four life sentences without eligibility for parole due to the fact that he falls under the habitual offender statute. Anthony Abram faces a maximum of twenty-three on his charges. District Attorney Hall Kittrell states that “We commend the hard work of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the State Fire Marshal. We also appreciate the cooperation of the witnesses who helped us prove this case. It is our sincere hope that the convictions of these men will allow the family of the victim some measure of healing.”
