Just a few months after Ward’s closed in Prentiss, the company announced the building of a new restaurant to the south of the old site. The new Ward’s will be built at the “y” of the intersection of the 84 bypass and Highway 13 in front of the doughnut shop. There is no firm timetable to the start of building, but representatives from the company said that contractors and engineers will be meeting there on Monday to begin the process.
