Three men were arrested in Lamar County over the weekend on the charge of conspiracy to commit the murder of a Marion County businessman. Glenn Evans, 46; Howard Cameron, 47; and Victor Mitchell, 42; made their initial court appearance on Monday, November 21st and were all denied bond.
It was revealed on Monday that the murder target was Thomas ‘Tommy’ Duff of Duff Capital Investors in Marion County. Tommy Duff was also appointed by Gov. Phil Bryant to the IHL Board in May of 2015 to represent the Second Supreme Court District.
It has been reported that the intended target was unaware of the murder conspiracy. There has been no information released as to the motive of the suspects’ plan to murder Tommy Duff.
