On July 1st, the Mississippi Public Service Commission began a “No Call” registry with the intent of reducing the number of calls made my telemarketers. Since then, over 62,000 have signed up for this service. If you are interested in having your name on the list, go to the website www.psc.state.ms.us or call 1-800-356-6430. Once a person has registered, it takes two months for a number to be officially on the list. Then, a cellphone owner can call and report the unsolicited calls.
