The National Weather Service out of Jackson, has issued a Heat Advisory throughout the entire pine belt region through 7pm Friday night. With highs in the mid to upper 90’s and high humidity levels the heat index can rise to between 105 and 110 degrees.
Heat stress could reach dangerous levels and could lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke for those working outdoors.
