Families Read First Family Saturday will be this coming Saturday, April 8th at the Columbia–Marion County Public Library from 10am-11:30am. There will be a time for storytelling, crafts, fun family activities, and free books!
Families Read First is a reading project designed to encourage families to spend time together reading, educate parents and caregivers on the importance of reading to children, and provide families with the skills and resources needed to establish positive reading habits in their own households.
This is free of charge and open to family members of all ages. You can reserve a spot for your family today by calling the library at 601-736-5516, or you can just come by the library at 900 Broad Street in Columbia.
