Tracey Hudson Countz will be signing copies of her new book, “Amelia’s Dash” at the Marion County Museum on Saturday, December 28th from 1-3pm.
The book tells the story of a white squirrel with many critter friends who live in the garden of a fictional town of Pearl (based on the city of Columbia). The town land its critters live through the storm and tornado, with no one harmed thanks to Amelia. Tracey, who wrote and illustrated the book will discuss her work. Afterwards, children can enjoy coloring illustrations of white squirrels.
The Marion County Museum is on 2nd Street in Columbia in the old train depot building.
Books will be available at $15 a piece.
