Due to an unusual decline in summer blood donations and the assistance in blood availability during the recent Louisiana and South Mississippi flooding, blood reserves are low. Your donation is needed to help ensure our family and friends have blood available if and when it is needed during the Labor Day holiday.
Donate blood September 1-11 and you will receive a 9-11 “Never Forget” 15th Anniversary Commemorative t-shirt! While supplies last. This year marks the 15th Anniversary of that tragic day of September 11, 2001. Remember the sacrifice, honor the lives, and support the cause by donating blood. Gone but not forgotten!
Donors can donate at the donor center in Hattiesburg located at 805 South 23rd Avenue. The donor center WILL be open on Labor Day from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Columbia residents can donate on Thursday, September 8 at Citizens Bank in Columbia (Main Office) from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm
Those who wish to donate may call 877-UBS-HERO (877-827-4376) or visit www.bloodhero.com to make an appointment to give.
