Black Cat Cone Fountain Fireworks Recalled

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall on all Black Cat Cone Fountain Fireworks with the model number BC269 printed on the bottom of the packaging which are sold in groups of three. There has been three reports of people lighting the firework, then the sparks flying outward rather than up. The cone-shaped fireworks devices are approximately 6-inches tall and have the Black Cat logo on the packaging. The words “Crackling Glitter,” “Colorful Glitter” or “Gold Glitter” is printed in black type on the front of the cone. Consumers should immediately return the recalled fountains to the retailer where purchased for a refund or exchange.
