Caston “Cas” Countz grew up in St. Louis, MO, listening to 94.7 KSHE radio which blossomed into a lifelong passion for radio. After moving in 2003 for a music career in Nashville, he began what would become “The Rock and Roll Omnibus” at Radio Free Nashville, WRFN-LP 107.1 FM sharing his love and history of rock and roll.  The show continues to air on several stations throughout the U.S.

In 2013, he and his wife Tracey moved to Columbia to care for his elderly mother-in-law.  Enter Tommy McDaniel and WJDR/WCJU. Cas now enjoys hosting the poplar morning show and The Bartering Show as well as being Operations Manager for all three stations. He enjoys meeting the great people of Columbia and helping local merchants reach their customers through radio.
